As some of you know I recently bought the arcade game "Tron" used of the board. It worked great for only two and a half days and now it is toast. I am looking for a recommendation on a person or business that could come out and diagnose and or repair it. I live about 15 miles north of Durham. i am pretty sure the problem is simple as the machine will turn on and the external lights all light up but I get no sound or picture on the screen. I am ruling out the tube b/c when it is turned on the screen will flash for a minute (no picture). I am under the impression htat if the tube would have blown I would not have any motion or flashing on the monitor. also it would not explain why there was also no sound. It seems that whatever powers up the game internally has failed, maybe a transformer or separate power source.

Yes I opened it up and checked replaced all the fuses I could find, all I got was about $5 dollars in quarters from 1980, but still no game. I am a little cheezed about it all in all. It did work fine right when i bought it but after being plugged in for 2 days it died.

Be glad you didn't buy it after all.:bounce2:
