Waggy SPOA

Has anyone ever done a SPOA on the front of a 88 Grand Wagoneer? The center section has a flat spot for the leaf spring and I was wondering if we can grind the same flat spot in the other side of the diff. If we can do that then what type of rear spring could we use on the rear to get the same amount of lift.

you are gonna get 6-7 inches out of the front doin that and the only springs to get that lift is BJ's offroad 6" springs. your best bet will be to just do a shackle flip as described here with this kit http://home.comcast.net/~killertravel/rbk.htm

3DCrawler, I dont quite understand your question but the wag SOA kits come with spring perches. A longer center pin is needed for the leaf pack, but thats about it as far as the SOA goes... the main issue with the spring over is what kind of steering geometry you run into. Most people will use a hi steer/crossover set-up. My buddy and I are currently doing one on his '90 wagoneer. If you have any other questions I might be able to help
