Hey guys- hadnt ever posted in here before but i'd like to get some opinions on this stuff. I own a 2000 Silverado Z71 (5.3) and have gotten to the point where i'm bored with what's on there...looking to do some additional things to it. I was thinking about Pacesetter LT headers and realized that I would not get the full benefit of the mod without re-tuning, which got me thinking about a Wait4meperformance tuned ECU. I currently have a bullydog power pup programmer and straight pipes (Tru-dual 3" piping all the way back, cats no mufflers). What kind of performance gains will i see from both of these mods? Is the wait4me tune worth getting rid of the bullydog for? Another questions I have is how will my truck shift with the Wait4me tune? I realize shift points can be adjusted but i'm really not interested in it if it's going to cause my transmission to shift really hard.

Not really looking for suggestions on better headers than the pacesetter or a different tune unless they're around the same price, not wanting to spend a ridiculous amount of money. Just really wanting to know how these mods will work with/improve what i've got.

Thanks a lot.

you'll probably get a better response from a silverado specific forum.

I have a 2003 2500 HD with one of Jesse's(waitformeperformance) tunes on it. very simple , very effective . give him your specs and he will create a custom tune for you.
