Local cops here had a Viper from a drug repo. It didn't last long so I'm assuming it got totalled like all of the Mustangs they used to have. Oh well, who cares how fast of a car they have? You can't outrun Motorola. :rolleyes:

actually, it's an 03/04 cobra and a turbo 350z. i do believe the cobra has an aftermarket blower on it as well, kb i think. both seized for street racing.

I have seen both of these....And yes it is an 03/04 cobra and a blue turbe 350Z with what looked to be gold rims. Not sure about the blower though...Don't remember seeing that....Anyone in concord can watch out for a burgandy pontiac grand prix w/ radar etc.
 
Across the river in SC (b/t Augusta and Columbia) I've seen 2 BMW's, a couple of Tahoes, a 1st gen Dakota with a camper shell, and a few Z28's all unmarked. Who knows what else they've got. Imagine getting pulled over by that Dakota. :rolleyes:
 
Holly Springs has some of the most random... a XJ that looks to be from the 80's, a PT Cruiser, and my favorite a Prowler.

When I was in Kona, Hawaii this was the choice of cop cars, had to be at least a V6, have 4drs, and new when the bought. Not sure what their price range was though.

They had everything from Kia's to new 300's with a Hemi. Saw a lifted Dodge Mega Cab with more lights on it than a damn fire truck.
 
There is a speed trap in Granite between captin's galley and the new wal-mart. The state trooprs sat an old ambulance near the road so sit in and clock people. Then they have 2 new chargers to run the speeders down. A buddy from work told me about it and I said he was full of it until I saw it for myself the following day.
 
Theres a bunch of different vehicles in Wake County with hidden blue lights, from the Vette all the way down to an 80s Chevy work van with the strobes on the ladder rack.

There is no way I would pull over for an 80's chevy work van with blue lights. I would gladly continue on until a crown vic, impala, or charger showed up.
 
If you cross over in Johnson City, TN on I-26 they have several unmarked 99-04 mustangs. SHP in Asheville has been known to run anything. White late 90s chevy crew cab dually, unmarked ford explorers, etc. The latest is a new silver expedition that runs the south end of buncombe county most of the time.

Hendersonville had a white Camaro SS completely unmarked, no antennas or anything a few years ago.
 
I'd like to park my shit right on the roof of that vette. Sorry, bullshit in it's purest form. Yea, me neither, CAUSE THE FAWKER WILL BE TOO BUSY OUT TRYING TO INSTIGATE STREET RACING INSTEAD OF PREVENTING REAL CRIME.

I've got a Glock 19 and a 21SF for just this reason.
 
I don't that the sheriff is using it for street racing. It is just a drug seziure car that an officer is getting to use as a patrol car. It's not like it is a SHP car that is luring people into racing.
