They are cheap insurance. I have also got evidence of two shoplifters, and was able to give the police a description of a guy trying to sell a stolen car( I didn't buy it) so that he got to spend Christmas in jail.

The navigation app Magic Earth includes a dash camera (uses your phone cam obviously) if you have a mount that allows it. It works well,

I like being able to leave this one on when I am not in the truck, so I didn't want a phone based one.

Agreed... in this area of the Commonwealth, the practice of crossing the center line goes WAY up the curvier/narrower the road... and log trucks driving like "canyon carvers"

When you spend as many hours as I do driving it is hard not to find them. I do a really good job of avoiding them.
