interested in selling my TJ...need help!!

I have a 04 TJ that I am trying to get out of I owe about 9k on it still. I am fixing to leave for Navy Special Forces and will be gone for almost 2 years fot training so getting rid of a $340 payment a month would be nice! This is my first rig and I have def experimented with it alot as of now:
Good:
-90K miles
-4.0
-5-speed
-Smittbuilt Softtop
-Custom roll cage
-2.5" RC progressive lift
-33x12.50x15 KM2s with about 5k on them
-15x8 soft8s
-New Xrc-8 winch
-Dana 30/35 with 3.07 (I have 4.10s ready to install)
-Poweraid TBS
-Hand throttle (not installed)
-AA SYE with TW driveshaft (not installed)
-PSC trail stinger with D-rings
-Custom rear bumper with D-rings and Hi-Lift mount
Bad-ish:
-Homemade fuel cell located in trunk area (kind of rough but very functional)
-Evap crammed in trunk as well
-Comp-cut rear ( not quite finished )
-Hi-lined hood ( not finished )
-U-pol interior ( flaking due to cheap ass previous bedline )
The jeep has been wheeled and you can tell it but hell that what you do with the damn thing! I know TJs are pricey but hell all I want is payoff value! What you think?!

Sorry to say it, but Very unlikely you'll get 9k out of it unless you really clean it up and find the right guy.

I'm with the RatLabGUy on this one. The only way you're going to get $9,000 out of that rig is if you have at least $4,000 in cash in the glovebox when you try and sell it.

You would have better luck coming closer to your asking price if your rig was stock. Unfortunately "jeep mods" rarely add significant value to a rig.

Best of luck with your deployment, who knows maybe you'll offload it.

Good luck...but Special Forces Training might be easier than getting your full asking price.

Just being honest, not an ass.

Thanks for your future service too!

Don't take this the wrong but if you wanted to sell it why did you butcher it, no way I would cutup a vehicle I have a payment on. When you cut up a TJ like that you narrow your prospective buyers to a bare minimum. Just wheeling it kills the value then when you cut the quarter panels and remove the fenders it kills the value even more for the normal buyer.

I can understand that I am planning on building fenders for it and plating the side and the rear corners its not quite done just was wondering if there was a slight chance

i would say you would have a lot better chance with a stock hood and fenders. the comp cut rear might get it. however, if you still have the stock front fenders that might be an easy fix.

You might also be able to throw the stock gas tank back in and have it look quite a bit better.

This is, of course, if you still have the parts.

well my gas tank fell while i was riding and broke 2 of the valves on it so i said hell lets rig a cell! I dont have any of the stock meess thats it i mean im not desperate to sell it i was jw
