Is anyone running warn #29071 hubs and have you had any problems?
I have a 97 Ranger with a dana 35 TTB open front and I have broke three hubs in the past two trips what could be causing
this. In the past I have been on some obsticles that I shouldnt
have been on and never broke hubs before. When the two broke last weekend I was giving it hell this weekend I broke one being very gentle.:kaioken:

by the way I am running 34'' LTBs

first problem I have heard on anything other than the Warn Premiums for 35 spline 60's
Everyone I know who had these now run drive flanges

I have major problems with the warm premiums for the dana 44. Keep toasting the hub but the fuse stays together.:shaking:

Drive flanges and an ARB for me probably.

got to be the inner spindle/stub shaft bearing [ISB]. the hub is the outer stub bearing that is why they need to be greased. although 60s with 35 spline outers are tight enough to not really need the bearings, the shaft is not tapered down after the ISB race.
let me know if thats it

Maybe if your model truck came with auto hubs you could find some and switch to that. I know some vehicles come with automatic locking hubs which are usually drive flanges from the factory. They stay locked all the time. I carry my stock drive flanges with me on the trail if my hubs were to break. Just take the manual hub assembly out and then pop in the drive flange and C-clip....good to go!
