Just don't buy a cheap aftermarket motor if you go this way.

Speaking of, I have an xd8 or 9000i that I'll let go for cheap that has, said, cheap motor on it.

Agreed to a point. I ran it for year had to replace the motor and used a cheap ebay one. Used it another year or two and then decided to send it to Clemson 4wd for a full service and new motor. Ran for a year then quit. Went digging in it and found the pole had detatched from the internal wiring. Warn would not warranty the motor so I bought a Smittybuilt.
