Wasp problem

Found 2 of them in the apartment tonight.

To me, with it being winter, that is far to many to find. This makes me wonder if they are nesting somewhere inside the walls.

I havent seen where they are coming from, they just sort of appear. I think they are coming from my room, which has a door to the outside patio. It wouldnt make sense for them to be coming from outside though, would it?

What do I do about this?

They should be hibernating. I'd say they're in the walls somewhere - somewhere warm.

Seems the guy below me has seen one or two in his bathroom, which is directly below my bathroom. Looks like they are somewhere in that wall...

I think they are in the wall between my bathroom and laundry room. They got in VIA the laundry room duct to the outside, and can come and go as they please through the holes for the wires to the hot water heater and the access hatch above my bathroom. I know the walls are basically open between apartments, so that would make sense that the guy below me is seeing a few too...

called the apartment manager, they got A-1 Pest Control out here, and I guess they sprayed stuff. Hadn't seen any wasps for a few days, then boom, 2 in less than 10 minutes.

Ended up mixing a batch of Dish Detergent and warm water and killed at least one almost right off the bat. The other one is in my bathroom some where. I sprayed him already but I cant find him anymore....

I have the same problem in my shop. When it gets cold enough to turn the heat on, they hatch out or thaw out from somewhere. I can't find them tho. Too many hiding places.

brake cleaner kills em in mid flight. Drys quick and doesn't stain anything.

Oh man, didnt realize that works too. Ive got a can or 5 sitting around here somewhere!

Im going to duct tape up the hatch above my bathroom, at least that exit will be cut off.

brake cleaner is an amazing wasp spray. when i worked at carquest, we'd shoot flies out of the air with it. they seriously die pretty much instantly when it hits them.
