One of my friend./customers has very little water pressure at their house because they're at the top of the hill in a subdivision. City water. They cant even water their lawn (that I just aerated, seeded, and fertilized) so I mentioned getting a booster pump. So I've been searching and I'm looking for one that is specifiaclly made for hose only applkications but most seem to want to be tied into the plumbing. Can anyone be the easy button for me?
Here's the closest thing ive found but the reviews scare me Amazon product ASIN B09ZXWXYDS

You are going to need something either with a reduced flow or a reservoir.
If the pump just increased output pressure it would suck the supply line dry and burn itself up.

Yeah I was hoping just a small booster wouldnt hurt existing plumbing...
I’d call the water department first. There’s minimum pressure and flow rates that are mandated by the state. Most of the time we went out it turned out to be a dirty screen in the pressure reducer valve.
I haven't called them yet but had planned to. These friends are of the "Helpless" type so whatever happens will have to be all me and I've finished my work! lol But I'm going to help them as best that I can.

The dumbasses that did some work on my house before we closed pushed past a sharkbite and drastically reduced flow in the house... something else to look out for.
