I am going to put a locker in the front 60, but I want to weld the rear

I am doing brakes on the rear and the axles shafts are out, so what better time

fluid is drained cover is off, tell me where to go from here

Pull the carrier out, clean it up good, and just run your welds. Weld the spiders together, rumor has it you shouldn't weld directly to the carrier(itll crack). Pretty much all there is to it. Keep it hott and continuous and just melt em together. Good luck!

Pull out the carrier. Get all the gear oil off of it by... ive used degreaser to get the gear oil off and went behind that with brake cleaner to get the oil that is left by the degreaser, ive heard of some people use paint thinner as well, and im sure there is other ways to go about it. Then, weld it up... im sure someone will pick up from here with some tips on welding it up.
