Does anyone know of any place in or around Raleigh that gives welding classes. My son is 16 years old and wants to learn how to weld. He has a 81 Toyota 4x4 that he takes wheeling , so he thought it would be a good skill to have to fab or repair his truck. Thanks.

^^ I'm sure you can taken them at Wake Tech as a con Ed evening course.
I did them at Forsythe and it was worth every penny of the $68 fee.

Most high schools are teaching welding now. I know have hired a couple of kids that took a welding class that was a part of the vocation class.

Beleive it or not, Goodwill here in W-S is going to start welding classes! I was the Food Vender at their 50th year anniversary two weeks ago and found this out. Check it out on their website and you never know.

Don't know but it was on the big sign out front. There's a lot more than just clothes.
