Hi everyone. I just signed up on here and I am anxious to chat with ya'll. Little background on my mud truck:

1974 Chevy on 2.5 ton Rockwells. Both front and back axles are steering axles. Running custom 20 lift kit Rolling on 49" Iroks. For steering im am running AGR Rock Ram hydraulic assist up front and full hydraulic in the rear.

Here is my question: I want to weld up the center section in the rear axle. Im not definite on the front as of yet. But is there any exploded diagrams of the center section on what exactly to weld up or are there any pictures that would show me what to weld. Thanks for your time everyone.

sounds like you've got some money tied up in this thing. why cheap out now. buy a detroit or an ARB.

I just went around and filled all the holes in carrier welding spiders to carrier. I did it on my last mud truck 74 crew cab gmc w/ 468 bb and 44 boggers and thats the way im doing it on my current buggy :driver:
