I have a dana 44 and a 9" that are in my 79 Bronco and want to see what they are worth. I am going to a dana 60 set up and want to know what to ask for these. They have 4.56 gears and have about maybe 500 miles on the build and the 9" has a full spool and the 44 is open. The 44 has a aftermarket cover that is blue not sure what kind or if that matters. Well just want to see that everyone thinks they are worth. If anyone needs more info let me know and thanks for your help.

one way to see what they are worth is to go to the parts for sale forum and see what the going price is. just a guess, but i would between $150 and $500, of course, it all depends on who needs them and if they have to cut down first.

150-500 each or for both?

each.

i'd say you could get around 400-500 for both if they are in good shape.

but really its what somebody is willing to pay. who knows you may find somebody willing to pay 200 for both or 800 for both...

I think he meant together, but I'm not sure. The 44 is probably in the upper region especially if it includes steering components and is high pinion. I'd say the 9 is in the lower end...looks like several ford 9" axles have sold recently in the for sale section for between $100-200.
I'd like to get the 9 from you if you do sell. I'll send you a PM.

I think another factor for the price of the 44 is if it has cast or weld on wedges...in your case I think you have cast and those aren't as popular as the weld ons simply because you have to re-use the ford radius arms on whatever the axle is going on....I've seen cast 44's go for 125 and weld ons go for 250 but there have been mayn in betweens as well.

I sold my 44/9" combo for 350
