@hurt4x4 has a Cherokee with what we thought was a 80-88 or so J10 or waggy front axle.
he broke a u joint in lions den and ruined his chromo shafts.
the outers are standard chevy/waggy, but the inner short side was like 17-7/8...
Not a stock length for any axle we can find.

it was a spring under axle at one point and is driver drop. Any ideas?
BOM has been worn off the front of the axle.

@Jody Treadway or anyone else?

Closest option ecgs offers is 18.3. I would have to cut off about 1/2". I'm not against cutting one down, more of just curious as to what this may have came out of.
Have you pulled the long side to see what it measures?

I used to have a j20 dsd 44 and ecgs had to get a shaft from branik for it. It was different for some reason

It appears to be a 1970-73 J-10. Chart is showing 18"

Edit**** saw it was a driver drop closest is 1980-87.5 J10/20 or wide track Cherokee 17.72"

I got $3 and a #BTL decal that says it's an early 80s J10/J20 front diff. I ran one back in the day and had to get custom inners made.
I bet you're right! All of the j10/j20 axles I found where listed as 16.5" I guess these where made with a slightly wider wms?
