I would probably leave it if you still drive it on the street. Do you have any kind of lift now?

I understand, but without better coils and longer shocks and brakelines, you would accomplish nothing. I would save up and buy a lift. Plus the driveablity on the street would bring the suck without the swaybar, especialy with coils.

thanks thats the answer i was goin after

The bringing the suck with coils is somewhat true with jeeps, and other linked vehicles...but a ford radius arm suspension is a totally different animal and was built to act as it's own swaybar. I doubt you would even notice a difference...but it's pretty simple to just disconnect it and find out for yourself.

yea i just needed to knwo if the front end could move any more with out it i rekin , ill try it out , fig i would ask befor i did .

Well either way, a swaybar isn't a bandaid for shitty driving. Treat it like it's an SUV and you shouldn't have any problems.

Gotta love the hank3 signature.

i see im not the only fan on here

by the way guys i toke my sway bar off today and .. it did a world of diff , and like my man up there said couldnt even tell it was gona and it opend the from end up to flexing . thanks guys

It was only an option for pre '79. You'll tell a difference though with about 1,500 pounds of load on the back... Slightly a tad looser but not much at all without a load. Alot of folk prefer to street drive without them on old Fords.
