I've done some searching, but can't find what it is. Any ideas?

It is a Unimog 416 axle with disc brakes. Probably has 6.52 overall gear reduction.

I've got them in my 4Runner. Here is a pic of mine when we were converting the drum brakes over to use Wilwood disc brake calipers and Chevy 8-lug rotors.

Thanks, I've done some searching on it, looks alot like a 406 but I can't find any pictures of a 406 with disc brakes. Also thought it might be a 419 since it has discs, but can't find any good pics of 419's.

What you think it would be worth? Looks like the cover/support on the pinion is missing, everything else appears in tact though.

406 and 416 are the same axles. I don't know anything about 419 axles. A set of front and rear 406/416 disc brake axles typically run between $4500 and $6000 with the driveshafts and torque tubes included in the deal.

In your photo the pinion splines are exposed. The drive shaft slips over the splines on the pinion shaft. The driveshaft runs inside a torque tube and only has U-joints on the transmission end(Unimogs don't have seperate transmissions and transfer cases, it is all in the tranny). You need to put a pinion conversion on there to be able to run u-joints on the axle.

To do this you need the original torque tube and driveshaft. Either that, or get ready to pay for a lot of money for machine work...

If you do buy the axles. I can send you a write-up I did on making the pinion conversion. It is pretty simple and cheap to do (if you have the driveshaft and torque tube).
