I just installed a 6" Rough Country NTD lift on my 04 Silverado 1500 crew cab. It's a 6" kit but they give a 5" block for the rear. When I installed the kit I set the torsion bar adjustment bolts back to where they were and it sits a tad lower in the rear than the front. I'd rather it sit level or have a slight rake to the front but that's my own preference. I also don't want to lower the front any more than it already is. The only thing I tow with it is my Sami or my 4 wheeler if that helps any.
So here's my question. I already have a one inch zero rate I could install to help level it out. Should I go with that, get a long add a leaf, or a short add a leaf? I really don't want to compromise my ride quality but if it will help with some sag while towing I'd rather have an add a leaf. What would any of you do? What are the ride/handling differences between the long and short leaf? What would be my best bet? Thanks all!

Haha....j/k man. Short add-a-leafs generally make the ride stiff as shit. I can't speak for long add-a-leafs. If you can afford it I would try to get some new 5.5" spring packs, either BDS or Tuff Country to get rid of the huge block. You can always put your zero rate in if that isn't enough.
