I was given a $100 gift card to Harbor Freight for my birthday. I know most of their stuff is usless, but what should I spen it on?

anything consumable...... zip ties were a good suggestion, grinding wheels, anything that has a tendency to get used up right in the middle of a project that just pisses you off, but is hardly worth dropping everything to go to the store to get

Ive got a 1/2" drive torque wrench from there that has been working pretty good for 3 years, about $15 bucks. Also, the $300, 8000lb winch would be good, with a 15% off coupon too.

Volt meter
Cheap tools for the trail
as said consumables
thingy to fill the 1lb propane bottles off of a 20lb BBQ tank
camping stuff
just go look, I am sure it'll jump out at ya

Buy some tools and make your own! :flipoff2:

are the 20% off coupons for Harbour Freight still on here? If you can find them that will help your 100 go a little further.
I would avoid tools from HF that have moving parts.

grinding wheels
nO nO no no nononononononono.

noT MAYBE NO!

Their grinding wheels suck the ass. They like to fly apart under strain, well 1 in 10 or so does. And it only takes one shattered gringind wheel to do permanent damage to someone.

Id feel better if he bought a HF chainfall and used it to hold his house over the grand canyon than use one of the grining wheels

Ill give ya $50 for the $100 card

and let the bidding begin

and skyhi- come to think of it.... i have caught two busted HF cutoff wheels to the face........... maybe i should rethink that part:eek:

OK! I went up there yesterday and spent my gift card. I bought the "Heavy Duty Gas Welding and Cutting Accessory Kit". It came with the hoses, valves, and tips. Now all I need is some tanks! Then I can melt some metal. Anyone have an extra set of small tanks they dont need any longer?
