What size tires can a Dana 30/AMC 20 support?

I am currently running 35" MT tires with my stock axles(built internals but, still Dana 30 front, AMC 20 rear). I am planning on possibly doing a spring over and running 38" tires over the winter. The jeep is mostly street driven but, I might eventually take it in the woods. Curious if these axles could support larger tires.

Thanks,
Todd

Any CJ's with springovers and stock axles?

I'd love to see some pics of any CJ with a springover suspension running the stock Dana 30/AMC 20 rear axles.

I am planning a spring over this winter using my 4" pro-comp springs. I want to run 38" MT Baja tires and not sure if these springs will be too much lift for what I really need.

Thanks,
Todd

Those axles are fine up to about a 33-35 off road. I've seen bigger, but They don't last. If you drive it on the street, you should be ok.
