does anyone know the part # for the u-joint for the rear drive shaft of a yj with the adapter for the round 8.8 pinion out put
the yj has a s.l.e.
I think the u-joint measures 3 1/4x3 5/8???

Just call Dave at olivers drive shafts in Winston Salem. I bet he has them in stock.....

Sure do. Chase at ECGS has some too.

I've broken 3 in of there best ones. They are just cheep. I prefer the Spicers, they seem to hold up much better. It just sucks to be broken down on the trail over such a small amount of money difference between the two.

I am not tiring to question your knowledge on the Snappy, Because you have been doing this longer than me.

But would not want the u joint to be the weakest point in a 1310 drive shaft?

I know nothing is bullitproof, but if another $10 gets me another half hour of wheeling while on the trail it's a no brain to me. I could see your point on wanting a weak link. It's all personel pref. i guess. maybe Dave or Chase will chime in and give there 2 cents. This could go on for days. I gues my point is when a ujoint goes what else will it take out?

That or fleetpride if you need it really quick. The duralast and brute force are quite a bit weaker than spicer joints. I'm fucking tired of changing cheap driveshaft joints. :flipoff2:

the Nepco and the spicers are both great joints. the 8.99 crapzone is not a nepco thats cheap i need to start buying them there if they are.

Nepco are made in the US.
