If your not gonna bob it, 63" chevys

as of right now, it has no bed... so we're probley just going to tube the rear, and exo it. so i mean we are basically starting from scratch, and building a trail rig that may be drivin on road if needed. Should we extend the wheel bast slightly?

thanks:beer:

Probably not, toys have a good wheelbase anyway and If you move your front axle forward one day for rears up front you'll get a couple inches there too. Chevys dont extend your wheelbase, they just require a double shackle or relocting your existing rear spring mount.

Chevys in the front will not work. WAY too long. He was saying stock Toyota rears up front. go to www.pirate4x4.com and go to the toyota section. Read the FAQ and these questions will answer themselves.

rears up front, 56" f150's rear flipped around.

springs

I would go with Marlin's up front. They are longer than a stock spring and will require the front spring hangers, sold by Sky and Marlin. If you want it to work, thats the way to go. The 63" Chevy's work great on the rear as do All Pro Springs. I have All-Pro 's on mine, they work great. I am a little unhappy with the fronts, they work great, but I feel they are sagging a little prematurely. Thus, the Marlin's and rear would be my advice.

yea, my all-pro's up front on my 87' have started sagging a little, but is there really much difference between the flex of a chevy 63'' and say an all-pro or marlin rear spring?
