Oh, the benifits of in-house survey department... I take not a single job for granted but it is awesome insurance when a surveyor walks in my office and tells me of a bust to fix on the fly before buying a manhole or some curb and gutter. There's so much detail these days due to stricter rules implamented every day, the budget would go out the roof to dot every single I and cross every single T with enough attention. I totally see your frustrations!!! It's the designer (me) that's the one that makes the initial mistakes and the Engineer didn't pick it up. And it's the best of surveyors that can pick off a problem before staking it in the field and assuming anything. I think it's usually the bottom man that finds the mistakes from the top man no matter what the occupation. I knew this topic could get interesting but I'm with 72Rockcruiser with this one... Nothing else, that answer should have been an option...
Boss sent an email to Tshirt provider asking for another shirt this morning. I think the finger pointing was unimportant since they just ordered 38 shirts from a company, they should be able to throw us another.
