What to say to the Judge?

talk to your lawyer, im sure he'll think of a way to help you out.

but if you dont have a lawyer, then its youre right to get one, free of charge to you.

Went to court in Cabarrus County/Concord this morning. The Deputy called in an "admin day" meaning no officers would be there. This was the day to plea down the tickets with the DA. If you wanted to fight your ticket you had to come back on another day.
I showed my calibration to the DA, got off on improper equipment and got out of there.
1200 people were scheduled to go through there today and at about $135.00 each, I'd say Concord came out okay.

I got pulled 25 years ago, 55 in a 45, which at that time of day was a 35 school zone. :( My landlady went with me to court, as I didn't know where the courthouse was downtown (I was going to UNC-W). Got in, finally got called, DA read charges, judge immediately said "Dismissed". I was all WTF, the cop that ticketed me was going WTF. I got out of there, I new not to ask questions....

Turns out my landlady, who was in her late sixties, used to date the judge -- back in the 1930's. :) He recognized her sitting with me.
