I have 84 ford f150 302 4x4 setting on 35''s. i going to put 4.11 front and rear. to replace the 3.00 gears.
Swap the 2 barrel for 4 barrel 600 or750 cfm. New in take new cam 282 duration 498 lift. the motor is a crate motor falirly new so mabye not any major bottom end work. will this upgrade be worth it. its still some what of a daily driver. thanks for the input

will the upgrade reach 330 to 350 hp. Just trying to figer out hp. I,ve rebuilt some motors in my time just put them back the same with no upgrades.

Are you sure you have 3.00 gears? I ask because most 1/2 ton fords from that time had 3.50/3.55 gears.

the front are 3.55 the back is a ford 9'' with 3.00 or smome were close to make the front and compatably

when bought it the 8.8 was trashed it was cheaper to put a 9" in it. I was thinking a bigger end might be better for the towing campers a such

The gears should be the same front and rear

front drive out .so it would not tear anything before i afford to get them matching.
