what would you choose

Either would work. Pick the one with lower miles or the best price/ condition.

Well, I think KC4x4s 4Runner is lower in miles on the drivetrain, and I like 90jeepman's XJ, but it has more miles.
I guess the 4runner has more room in the backseat area. I know the spare under the truck is a bit harder to get out, but I do like the idea of a sunroof.

So.....
KC responds to me, but 90jeepman is more in my price range...

I am a Toyota man myself, But i will never own a 3.0 v6 4runner again after the one i have now goes. Have to fill up with gas every 250 miles and towing a heavy trailer I will be lucky to get 215 to the tank. 16 gallon tank. Did a full tune up/service and it gets about 13 - 14mpg.

Not to mention, it was a brand new crate engine block/new head setup about 75k miles ago

i've heard you will go thru head gaskets on that 3.0

i've had no problems out of my xj...but it is a jeep, not a honda ;)

Havent heard of that. However there was a recall on them a while back and they where replaced. But this is a new engine since then.

Hands down man, xj all the way! if you're on a 4x4 forum, and you like to wheel, then you're gonna want the xj. jeeps just go....wherever.

Now I'm having a hard time finding aan XJ that don't look like it's been rode hard and put up wet...and i'll be towing more than wheeling...
Now I'm swaying to the Full size Broncos...

a buddy of mine has a full size Bronco and it's generally a nice vehicle, but fuel mileage is absolutely horrible. it's like a big heavy brick cutting through the air. if you want something to tow with but still want something you can put people in, perhaps a crew cab truck would be more fitting? what will you be towing?

1977 17' Renken Open Bow boat with a Mercruiser 120...on a galvanized trailer...
Still really want an XJ
I figured a Bronco would be like that
Just like a suburban

There is an xj listed on here for 900.00 that needs a little work, go get the dang thing! haha
