Hey fellas

I wanted to know your oppinion's. I have a 89 full size Blazer it is all original with exception of flowmaster's. I want to sell it but it needs paint and interior work everything else is good. Would you guys do the work then sell it or just sell now. Not realy interested in not getting my moneys worth!

Only needs paint and interior work...hmm...Sounds like you should keep it and turn it into your next trail rig, especially if it is paid for!

89 K5

I recommend that you put a real nice paint job on it, replace all damaged interior pieces, add a small lift (2"-3"), some 33's and then trade it to me for my 95 Xcab Z71 listed in the for sale section a couple of weeks ago!
Let me know!

Youll probly spend more on a new paint job and redoing the interior than youll get back out of it. I'd say sell it just like it sits.

Be honest when you sell it... I'd rather pay $100 less than have you put a $100 paint job on it...because I'll have to deal with shitty looking paint for years.

Be honest about it, and say that..

I would, however, do interior work.

Your only talking about a $2500 car anyway. I would sell it as it sits assuming that the interior isn't trashed. Just clean it up really nice. For an '89 people are expecting wear and tear, after 17 years in service it shouldn't be perfect.

I do paint work for a living so getting it ready for paint is no big deal, I will have someone else do the paint and clear though because I dont have time! The interior hase a few rips and the carpet needs to be replaced, that can be done pretty cheap. If I get all that done it aint no 2,500 truck. Did I mention that it is from California and has absolutely no rust!

Look at KKB, NADA and see what it will fetch as is and in EXCELLENT CONDITION given the age and miles. I bet you will find investing money to fix it up will be an exercise in futility in getting your investment dollars back. Sell it as is and move on....fixing old stuff yields very little rewards unless it is some rare muscle car.

My $0.02

You know somthing I dont know please let in on the secret. I spend ALOT more time on prep than i do shooting the paint.
