I have dana 44 axles in my buggy that were in it when I bought it. They are from a Jeep Wagoneer and the rear is offset to the passenger side just like the front. Does anybody know what years these were put in Jeeps?

That is from a Quadra Trac equipped Jeep. They used the Q-T from around '70 to '79 in FSJs and '76-'79 CJ-7 w/automatic trans. All of them equipped with the TH400.
Jeep also used the D18 case in the early Wags and they were also offset. However they are junk axles. Coarse spline and closed knuckles. They have a 5 on 5.5" wheel pattern.

if you want another one i got one for ya. front and rear. but somewhere in the 70's is your best bet i believe in 1980 that got away from quadrajunk and moved the gastank on them to run a centered rear diff.

on a side note i do have a 78 j-20 that had a t18 and dana 20 t-case and the rear 60 on it was offset just like the dana 44's behind quadrajunk

Some rears are offset more than others, some around 6" and others are like what I have for sale now, the yokes front and rear are practically in the same position (off a 78 waggy). Was told micro buggy people and sammi people wanted these now?

That's because of the fuel tank. And it's only off from center (pass side) a bit.
what did you do with the Q-T 60 rear?

The Q-T as junk is still up for debate.
I'm still running one. With a J-10 man. trans. rear.
They are all over the place, still. Working, full time.
You don't want to hit one on a rock. Massive lift can cause problems on the street. As can twin lockers. ARBs can fix that.

As far as handling power and weight they are as good as any other t/c Jeep ever used. Their prowess in snow is legendary.

I want more options so I'm swapping in a CJ300.

That's why I want it. I have an 89 sami that is a full tube chassis, 4.3 vortec, th-350, sami case, with waggy axles. I'm just looking for some spare axles cheap. I don't need the whole assembly unless the price is right.

I have a '78 offset rear for sale. I will let it go for $60.

the 60 is off just as much as the 44. i had to notch the gastank skidplate on mine to run it since the snout is longer.

i still have the 60 and its for sale.

i strongly dislike quadrajunk. it would never last the way i wheel.
