what years where 454's injected

I'm looking to go injected on my big block 440 and figured with mega squirt and a relatively same size motor I could get out of this without dropping 3 bills into an already assembled system. I need to know what years the 454 was TBI and what years they where MPFI. Also what they primarily came in ie burbans, trucks vans, ect...

I know the 454 ss trucks started in 1990 and were tbi

89-95 are the TBI years for the 454 in the 2500s & 3500s. 89s used carbs as well as TBI.

94-95 TBIs ran at ~32psi using smaller 4.3l injectors. This gave better idle characteristics and fuel control. 93+ were also PCM controlled and could handle 4L80e auto trans. 96+ MPFI
