he runs (ran?) a shop here north of Huntersville / south of Davidson. mostly cashing Daddys checks bolting crap on JK's with some light fabrication/motor swaps etc. I went to an open house up there just to have some food and see what the fuss was about. that was last summer. since I build my own junk, I had zero interest really. honestly I was hoping to see some 'tail in short shorts perhaps...
fast forward to last week. talked with my buddy that is well respected, and has auto repair shops in the area -says hes 'skipped out' and owes a bunch of folks a lot of money. interesting. this is the EF Hutton of Huntersville. I know him well enough that I used to have keys to his CARQUEST to try out parts and look through the counter books. so he knows a crook from an honest guy.
so the wifey checks faceypages and Diezels out wheeling all over the west coast. " indefinitely " - hard to catch a man that is going trail to trail to trail camping with no itenerary. - just a thought...
again I get a call recently from respected local guy saying that the snatchback man is going over with a rollback to clear off the property if Im interested in anything that was there that was not a customers- they will eventually auction it off. true or not, not for me to say but wondering if anyone here knows the real deal about this. prolly go over there t0night and see
