Pilot bearing is in this bushing/retainer. PO removed with jaws of life then reinstalled.

Looks like the same one we used in Daddy's RamCharger when we swapped the engine and the crank didn't have the small bushing hole. Research at the time said to "just get a magnum pilot bearing" so that's what we did. I think this is the one we used, Summit says it fits some Jeep 4.0s too.

Many bearing manufacturers use the same part # FC69907 for the complete assembly. It can be used in older mopars to use a manual trans with an undrilled crank.
 
You could reuse the ring if you can get the bearing out and get a new one.
 
Rockauto has the bearing only for $7.48 (SCE1295). The complete assembly for $7.89. Both are National brand.
