wheel hop

my buddy has a yj and when he is crawlin alot of times he gets alot of wheel hop. is there anything we can do to fix that.
 
You can have him make an anti wrap bar

Or he could buy one

This would help with the wheel hop.
 
In my experience, an anti wrap bar will not prevent wheel hop. The only thing I have done to my leaf sprung rig that has helped eliminate wheel hop was the installation of leaf spring sliders. Those have helped quite a bit. An anti wrap bar is absolutely necessary if you have gears low enough to wrap your springs or if your springs are soft enough to wrap with your current gearing, but I have had enough wheel hop while running an anti wrap bar to bend and break leafs! I agree with Alex, better, properly valved shocks and some device to help prevent wheel hop. I just don't think the anti wrap bar will cure the problem.

It didn't fix mine. I am running an anti-wrap bar & I hop up obsticals.
