I run a 1" spacer and had nothing but what I wanted out of them. I torqued them to 110 ft/lbs and called it good. Never looked back and I wheel it pretty hard I think.
Why do you need a 2" spacer? Are you trying to keep stock wheels? Sometimes its better/just as cost effective to buy a cheap set of steelies.
Just make sure you go with a quality company, don't skimp and get Chinese crap. And if your wheels are hub-centric, make sure the spacers are too! I had some cheap 1.5" wheel spacers that weren't hub-centric and wobbled like HELL...now I've got some hub-centric spacers and its much better.
Just torque them properly and check them after a couple of hundred miles. Thy can cause a little more stress on bearings but if done right work well. As said before make sure if you are running hub centric wheels run hub centric spacers.
don't run 2pc spacer adapters thou, even when torqued properly with locktight I had one separate on me on the front left side while going down the interstate bout 70 mph with traffic all around me, was an interesting situation
But I have run normal 1.5" spacers on the rear of my tow rig for a while with no probs
I'm thinking of purchasing a set 2" wheel spacers and I wanted to hear your options?
Anyone running them with great succes, or anyone stop using them for some reason?
