I'm thinking of purchasing a set 2" wheel spacers and I wanted to hear your options?

Anyone running them with great succes, or anyone stop using them for some reason?

Why do you need a 2" spacer? Are you trying to keep stock wheels? Sometimes its better/just as cost effective to buy a cheap set of steelies.

Just make sure you go with a quality company, don't skimp and get Chinese crap. And if your wheels are hub-centric, make sure the spacers are too! I had some cheap 1.5" wheel spacers that weren't hub-centric and wobbled like HELL...now I've got some hub-centric spacers and its much better.

Running spacers that have been installed correctly will be no different than running custom back-spaced wheels.

Summit sells the wheels cheaper than most places sell the spacers.

Just torque them properly and check them after a couple of hundred miles. Thy can cause a little more stress on bearings but if done right work well. As said before make sure if you are running hub centric wheels run hub centric spacers.

Quality spacers, installed and torqued correctly and checked periodically = Friend

Crappy spacers, not torqued, not checked = Foe

Been running quality units on the rear for years with no problems.

don't run 2pc spacer adapters thou, even when torqued properly with locktight I had one separate on me on the front left side while going down the interstate bout 70 mph with traffic all around me, was an interesting situation :shaking:

But I have run normal 1.5" spacers on the rear of my tow rig for a while with no probs

I've run mine for a couple years with no issues...

I know at least a dozen people that run spacers they bought from this guy:

here's a direct link to some 2" spacers with 5x5.5" spacing (I took a guess you're running the stock CJ bolt pattern):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WHEE...62QQcategoryZ42614QQihZ002QQitemZ120293893109

that'll run you just over $150/shipped for four...

side note...some of the brands specifically say not to use loc-tite...as it will cause false readings when you go back to re-torque...
