Where can I get this vw part?

The interior arm rest door handle whatever the hell it's called broke on the wife's car.
I can't figure out what that backing piece is called to order a new one.

Any ideas?

Have you tried local LKQ's? All of them have websites now with searchable inventory.

Most vw parts are bolted in from the back side my arm rest has fell of both side and had to replace the bolts coming threw the panel...

Like snappy said your probally can just pull the panel and tighten the screws or bolts that hold it on

Oh.
I know how to get it off, but the "tab" that holds the bolt in place broke. So here is nothing for the bolt to grab against. According to online none of the local lkq's have a comparable black cabrio. I went by the Durham one, no luck.

Golf and I think jetta arm rests are the same I think. I know 2 door golf ones are the same.

JB weld a tab together, then put the screw back in.

Check the classifieds on VWVortex.com, you may find someone parting out a car that has one for sale. :thumbup:
