Where do you post your heavy equipment ads?

I typically post stuff on marketplace and craigslist, BUT I am wondering if high dollar equipment will get more eyes on it in a different location? Specifically I am selling a 55Hp tractor, in like new condition and wondering if equipment trader or the like is a better use of advertising efforts.

You don't look at much equipment then. It's all about what you click on.
Maybe a better way to put it, the equipment I see on marketplace doesn't seem to sell quickly unless it is WAY undervalued or a broken down project. Who knows, Facebooks algorithm is absolute garbage with respect to what it thinks I want to see.

Anyhoo.....I get it, you deal with, and play with the Heaviest, and HUGEST equipment and your feed is full of dozers, cranes, and heavier stuff that us mere mortals can't even fathom.

If anyone has anything constructive to add, cool....if Marketplace is the best this world has to offer, I can just delete the thread.

Yeah, unfortunately craigslist is mostly dead and marketplace is the best bet. Given that it’s new and low hours, machinery trader might also be a good option, or even eBay. I’ve bought quite a few high dollar things on eBay by finding a way to do an off eBay transaction with cash. But eBay was the catalyst for the contact.

I've seen some ads for some heavy equipment on Tinder and other such dating apps 😅

I agree with the above though. FBMP, equipment traders, machinery trader, and eBay. Even a good ol' for sale sign and stick it out near the road. Oh, NC4x4 is a decent enough place too :D

Probably overpriced since he's too proud to put on marketplace 🤣.
It's on marketplace, it was there before this post was put up. The goal was to get as many eyes of actual / potential buyers on what I am selling, which is why I asked what I thought was a simple question to people who might have good advice.

Facebook brings the eyes, but not the buyers....it brings bored mindless swipers that prefer to hit "Is this available" rather than actually communicate like a human being, I won't even get into the complete lack of follow through for the few people who know how to string a few words together.

Not quite sure what crawled up you ass about this post, maybe you just got nothing else going on in your life? Thanks to everyone else.

Just being silly, no harm intended. I thought half the point of this place was to bust each other's balls a little 😉

In all seriousness, I would check with RDD auctions out of Mt Olive or Jason Aycock auctions out of louisberg. Both of them hold consignment auctions a few times per year and all the ones I've been to lately any and everything has gone for stupid money. Not sure what their consignment percentage is though

What kind of 55hp tractor we talkin?

So, what kind of 55hp tractor we talkin? Remotes? 4wd? Loader? Cab or open?
Dropped the details in the Misc. section of the classifieds section.

Thanks, I will look into those. Getting more interest than expected off of craigslist (still my go-to, it is where people go to shop, facebook is where they go to look at stuff).
