tractor supply has one made by warn, i could see northern tool having an off brand one for much cheaper

if you get one, post up how much it was, im looking to get two to cut down to make custom mounts to replace my factory tow hooks on my gmc

The shackle is only as strong as the hitch pin that holds it.

some straps are to wide to fit inside the tube. I have one 2in strap that will fit and one 3in that will not

Saw one at Tractor Supply in Clemmons yesterday that wasn't Warn although they have those too.

Went to tractor supply yesterday and they had the one shackle reciever mount but it was made out of square tubing and didn't have a load rating on it.
So I got this big hook that's rated for 10k. LOL

The shackle deal was $34.97 but had no rating on it and looked kind of flimsy.

The hook was $29.97 and brings the beef!!

Hmm, possibly because it is a 2" receiver? Did you try to put the square peg in the round hole much as a child?
