I have been looking at several different locker brands and I wanted to hear from people who have actually used these brands. The brands are Spartan, Lock-Right and Aussie.

What made you decide to use this locker?

Any issues?

If you were to get another locker would you use the same brand?

For what axle? I've had an Aussie in a 9" rear and a lockright in a 44 front. Same vehicle. The Aussie hooks up violently but I didn't mind. The lockright for a front is awesome.

I have a Spartan and a lock right in mine. I like the spartan. It has some pretty beefy pins and is super easy to install. I broke the lockright but also took the carrier out at the same time

I ran a Aussie locker in a rear Toyota on the road, and it did fine. Just some getting used to in the parking lots. I bought a samurai spartan last month because they are running a 30 dollar rebate till the end of the month. Nice quality and comes with the hardened cross pin which is important. I returned it because I traded for a used Detroit Ez locker ( discontinued I think) . I'm convinced they all perform the same, but for me, price and a hardened cross pin made the difference. So I chose the Spartan. Install is all the same.

When I got the Detroit ez locker, all 4 dowel pins had been sheared, which notable even though they are not available.

I have ran and installed several Spartans. I love them. The better cross pin as mentioned, and the install is easier than a LockRight. My current jeep came with LockRights and I'm not crazy about them. They are jerky, and have a lot of slop, and noisier than any Spartan I've dealt with.

Ive broken all three but the aussie was probably my favorite always locked before it needed to. A couple times ide try to bump up something and the lock rite would engage at wot. The the spartan shattered and took out my gears

Whats everybody's thoughts on these in a 60 front?? Im looking to put something in the front of my work truck, stock 60 front w 4:10's w 285's and lockouts. My shop sits on a hill and is kinda hard to get a loaded trailer turned around and backed in to,its easier just to back up the hill but it works on the truck w open diffs.

My last 60 had a Lincoln locker in it. This newest one I think I'll do a lockright. They just seem to work in a front.

I ran a lockright in my D60 front and had no issues with it locking when needed. Had to get use to the loud click when going down a steep was the only downside.

For what you would be using it for id say it would hold up just fine.
