Looking for a new set of 35s and need sonething thats going to last for awhile with an aggressive pattern

Options are
Mastercraft Courser M/Ts
Procomp M/Ts
Cooper Discoverers SST
BFG M/Ts

I need a tire thats will perform in slick mud hill climbs, rocks, gravel, and pavement. You know everyday driving conditions.

A friend of mine has the Mastercraft Courser MT's on his Powerstroke, and he's gotten very good life out of them.

Coopers! Unless things have changed recently, Cooper Tire makes all of the tires for ProComp and Mickey Thompson.

Ive never riden on procomps but my old mickys were badass, i got 50k out of them and i gave them straight hell at uwharrie and a bunch of places around my house, and my traditional its friday burnout haha

I have run the Cooper STT's and they will last longer than most, they use a harder rubber. They do well off road but being a little harder rubber I felt like they loose a little grip on the rocks and wet hard surfaces. Good tire overall if you street your truck a lot.

Mastercraft is a second-line tire label for cooper. over the years i've hac cooper, mastercraft and BFG, i like all three; the cooper's seemed to last a little longer, but the BFG's seemed to have the best bite in all conditions. they're all quality tires, just depends on your preference

Thanks guys think ive made my decision. To stay in budget ima get the mastercrafts.
Goodyears cost to much and even tho coopers are only $25 more a tire i still think id rather save $100

Thank you man!! Going with the coopers and keeping $130 some odd dollars plus whatever shipping woulda cost! Never really looked for anything big on ebay but hey, i like save a buck

Oh yeah! Forgot that Mastercrafts are made by Cooper too! If you really look at it, there are only 3 or 4 MAJOR tire manufacturers. Michelin (they own BFG and Uniroyal) , Cooper, Firestone/Bridgestone, and Goodyear. Of course, you have your Japanese brands such as Toyo (est. August 1945 in Japan) and they came to the US in 1966.

Interco Tire makes their own stuff I guess, unless they've changed their name.

Goodyear duratracs for the win, very aggressive pattern for an a/t while not being a full on m/t. You get long life and have plenty of traction. Stay away from Bfg m/t's shitty tire all the way around, sidewalls suck, rarely balance well, shitty on road handling, and the off road performance is sub par for the price range. Some others to consider are nitto trail grapplers, toyo open country and of course Goodyear MT/R.
