Which tire?

I've got it down to 3 but I just can't make a decision yet. I'm gonna be running chromo stuff, either of the 3 will fit and I'm planning on grooving which ever. These tires will rarely hit pavement. Whats your opnion?

38x12.50-15 TSL
16/38.5-15 TSL
38X12.50-15 TSL SX
 
if youve got 30 spliners id get 39 irocks. otherwise get the SX's, they are a great tire
 
even with just 27 spline outers you can survive 39.5 IROKS. it depends on how you wheel.

I vote 38" TSL's cuz that's what I'm buying... (or the 39.5 IROKS) :D
 
I'm not really a big fan of the IROK's but the 39.5's have come to mind because of the advantage of the size and comparable weight. I'm just not sure if my poor 4cyl thirds would be up to the task and I really don't want to have to invest in hydro assist. What 3rds is Gawker running?
 
If you have the money I would go with the 39's myself. I am on 38's now but
plan to go up with my next set.
 
Gawker runs stock toy thirds 4.10 and elockers f&r if I'm not mistaken. he has hydro assist as well. but going full hydro soon. he runs 27spline longfield outers, stock inners.

I've never seen him break anything.
 
Then he's not trying hard enuff!:flipoff2: I know of someone on here that broke 2 chromoly inners last summer running 38/12.50 tsls, I'm sure he would jump in here but he just left for Tellico.

Anyway I've got it down to the TSL 38/12.50 or the IROK 39.5/13.50

TSL 38/12.50-15 70#
38.5/14.50-15 90#
SX 38/12.50-15 84#
38.5/14.50-15 89#

I'm planning on running 27sp(30's are overkill to me) with my 5.29's,detroits, 15x10 steel beadlocks- HEAVY.
I can hear my R&P begging for mercy in the back of my head, too bad I drive the way I do and not the way I should:burnout:
 
Hey Josh I've heard good things about the Iroks but never run them. I have had the Tsl Sx and really liked them. You can't go wrong with either one.
By the way get off the internet and get the YOTA done.:flipoff2:
 
Drive to 4wheel parts (South Blvd) and ask to look at the tires. If theres not any IROKs on the floor ask to see some in the back/garage.

Fixed it fer ya Jay! I ordered BIG rubba and alot of other goodies today, Pics comin next wk. I haven't even gotten any of this shiat mounted and I already have carnage......My wallet broke!:flipoff2: :beer:
 
Can't wait to see the pics. Me and Lee are going topick up so humvee rims Sunday morn. I will still need gears, lockers, spools,etc. before the 60's are ready to go in. Ain't nothin but money, make it everday. LOL Just not enough.
