I am soon going to be getting the 38.5x14.5-15 TSLSX's and I cannot decide how wide of a wheel to run. This size I feel is right on the edge of using a 10" or a 12." My thoughts are the 12" wheel will allow for a wider footprint and maybe increase tire life. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has any pics of these combinations to share with me. Thanks
Bill

10's. I lost plenty of beads with non-beadlocked 10" wheels. I couldn't imagine 12's, unless you're into street driving only.

I had 10's on my 35x16 15inch boggers, lost beads all the time, went to 8's and didn't loose them at all. I think no bigger than 10's for the street.

x3.........run em on the 10's.....I had a set of 39's on 12" wide wheels and it made the footprint SO wide it actually seemed to lose traction because of the way the wide tire/wheel combo dispersed the weight of the truck.....:driver:

Those were bald too Rich, before you call me on it.....:huggy:

i run 15x10's on my 39.5x18" boggers and have never lost a bead even when aired down to about 6 psi.....

i think running your tire on a 12" wide rim would be a mistake.....

Probably best viewed in person, but here is my 42x15-15 on a 15x8 rim:
