Tough spot.
Listened twice in thecar. Disappointed. Not because it isn't good, but Southeastern is (imho) the best album of the last 5 years. This isn't in the same stratosphere,yet is probably a top10 of the year for me...


Damn Jason and his highbar he sets for himself.
Afraid he needs another trip through hell and rehab to rekindle the magic
 
Turnpike Troubadours will release a new album in September, really looking forward to that.

Heh, that's sort of what I told a friend... Southeastern, seems to me, was a purge of all that came before in his life.

I like both, they're just different.
