Whitewater in Charlotte

Thought those in the Charlotte area might find this interesting. This is about 10 min. from where I live.
Whitewater river rafting/canoeing/kayaking, biking, hiking, camping......you name it. (except of course wheelin`)

I've heard talk about that facility, but wasn't sure how far along it was. From what I understand, it's supposed to be a nice enough facility that the US Olympic rafting team headquarters may relocate to Charlotte to use this facility as the official Olymipic training facility.
