does anyone have the 411 on this?
that's some funny chit!I think I heard a rumor that a Alien Space craft had landed there.
He was stuck in a creek tangled in some old fishing line and lures which pissed off the trout fisherman and it was all over after that.
you ought to see the land raping going on next to me I moved into a wooded hilly subdivision and my next door neighbor cut down all of his trees and is leveling the hills. When I asked him why, he said, "I want to be able to mow the grass" I asked him, "why didn't he move to the suburbs? it would have been cheaper"yeah, reminds me that while I'm being careful to "Tread Lightly" ...everywhere else across America there are D9 Cats & Scrapers leveling every square inch to build a new subdivision, mega Walmart & super shopping mall. But no one complains 'bout that. no protesters anywhere, just happy campers sleepin on the sidewalk all night for the doors to open...
Here's to Saving the Environment
it's to recondition the trail.. ie fill in some mud holes, put up some guard rails, make the tree huggin hippies happy.... that kinda thing

I thought it was because it was too extreme....
This from the man that owns 2 wheelable Jeeps...

Couple of things about the new camping area. It is intended for use by the ATV crowd, gives them a place to camp with direct access to the trails. So they don't have to tow from camp to trail. It is going to be "primitive" camping. No showers or potties at this time. Ranger Walker is trying to get it named after Art Lilley...I'm not sure this has made it through USFS "headquarters" yet, but she is trying.
