It's a liability that the owner does not want. He is married to a lawyer, so he has good legal council for NOT wanting to do it. It's his board, his rules, nuff said
 
what liability though? Are you afraid the guns are stolen? I frequent many boards that allow guns to be posted in the classified sections. Forgive my ignorance.
 
its kinda of an understanding around here if you want to talk guns you go to carolina shooters forum. i think i got that right. fishhunt can correct if im wrong.
 
To make it easy.
1) This is a private owned entity, the owner does not want it here.

As far as what liability...
2) the man that owned the pawn shop that sold the gun used to kill Steve Mcnair was just sentenced to 30 months.
 
And just to point out the obvious this is a 4x4 forum. NOT a gun forum.

After catching up todays posts... Your last post in the gun ad, for someone to hurry up and buy it after you were warned about the forum rules. Kindly read ALL the rules and make sure you follow them.

The owner of the board and many of the members of this forum are lifetime NRA, some of which have arsenals that rival small countries, so tell me, is it just because we won't let YOU sell here? are you that special ?

Cuss it up, maybe you will fell better, is it really that big a deal ?
 
I think it's more of a bandwidth issue...there would be 1000 wanted/forsale adds per day just on guns..lol
 
grills are 4x4 related ex. you go camping to 4 wheeling and bring a grill to cook with. tools are related ex. you break it you fix it. seadoos are 4x4 related for the simple fact at ure baden lake is right next door and after a day of wheeling hard you want to hit the lake the next day. but like every one else already stated its the rules. period. if you dont like it create your own site pay for it and do what you please.

I personally don't have an opinion either way, but if the site owner says no, it means no. :)

guns are 4x4 related. go out wheeling and shoot some animals maybe? i mean i did post it in the misc section. but none the less, okay i get it guns are bad guns kill people. ect ect

Rob owns the board.
Rob owns guns and is an NRA member if I am not mistaken.
BUT He does not want guns sold on this board.

If he provides a forum for 2 people to transfer a firearm and then does not insure that the transaction is 100% legal, compliant etc. he could be liable.

That is all, not that guns are bad, they are just not sold here.

I dont think prostitution is bad, but I dont want it sold out of my bedroom

I think that you shouldn't ban him, just let him keep coming back and get more pissed he can't sell a gun.
 
owner says no......end of story. He doesn't have to have a reason.
