Wifey just left from work, Today she was driving the 2dr Sidekick on 34's instead of her usual ride (97 Yukon)... She keeps telling me she's saving gas, but ever since Zuwharrie I can't seem to get my side kick keys back.
She said weather looked threatening.
I told her of the current Tornado warnings in the area, we talked alittle more then lost reception. 1.5 Min later She is telling me how that was weird and how the power flashed, stop light switched and began blinking, and strong wind ect. She was headded from work to Food Lion 2 miles away. Once Arriving at FoodLion she called work to check on them. Other 3 ladies all lost the windows out of their cars and lots of other damage from Roofing debris. Tornado passeed behind her while she was stopped at the light.
I can not imagine if she would have been caught in the roof debris and wind driving a Lifted Conv SideKick...
Definatly saying my preayers and thanking the lord on this one.

Update: A tornado warning has been issued for chesterfield and all of the Tri-Cities. Preliminary reports of damage are being reported in Colonial Heights and Petersburg.
According to witnesses, damage is widespread in the Southpark Mall area of Colonial Heights.
Officials confirm at least 18 people have been injured near the mall. Witnesses report cars being tossed around, and debris strewn everywhere.
VDOT officials said all debris has been removed from Interstate 95, but traffic remains backed up for about two miles in each direction from the Southpark Mall area.
