winch mount for 2500 HD

Does anyone have a winch mounted on a chevy 2500hd. I have a 8500 pound winch that I would like to mount on my 04 2500HD. If so I would like to see pics/websites to find out how to put it on my truck. thanks
 
I'm not totally sure an 8500 lb winch would be enough for that truck. I've got and 8000 on my yota. The bumper you need for that probably weighs in at 800-1000 lbs by itself. (Like a Ranch hand type.) Just Google Ranch hand bumpers and you'll see what I mean.

i agree on the winch being a little small for the truck..... 12,000 would be more what you need..... also, a cheaper alternative for a mount would be get a front mounted receiver hitch and a quick disconnect for the winch power..... that way you can remove it when not in use and also run power to the rear and winch either way.....
 
Are you looking for a bumper with a mount or a front receiver style that you can move when not in use? I wanted to put a reciever on the front of my 2500 so I could use it to manuever trailers around mount a winch and many other uses like a vice, rod holder, basket style carry-all, bike rack, and many other uses.

Here is a quick search from google and jcwhitney. Almost every major receiver brand has one for your truck. Warn has them as well.

i agree i got my 01 hd stuck and a bobcat and a john deer A would not budge it i finally got a bulldozer. it weighes 6500 lbs
