I am in the process of taking my 93 4 door Cherokee apart and transfering some of it over to a 91 2 door. So far I have pulled the engine, tranny tcase and wiring harness under the hood and put it on the 91. The problem I have is the wiring harness on the 93 is slightly different by one small cluster of wires that has a connector that has 3 wires to it. The 91 doesn't have any place to plug them into. I tried to start the jeep today while leaving this unplugged but there is no fuel delivery. So I pulled the tank on the 93 with the fuel pump (cause I know its good) and put it into the 91. Still nothing. Checked with a test light at the tank and nothing. I checked the relay but i am nit sure how it should act. I am thinking that cluster inder the dash thaT goes out through the fire wall may have something to do with it. Everything worked well when it was in the 93. I just dont want to have to rip the woring harness in the dash out of the 93.
So my question is does some one have the colored wiring schematics for a 93 cherokee and one for a 91 cherokee.
I dont have the Jeep here now but one wore was Green with a small yellow strip, the next was white with a small brown/orange stripe and I can't remember the third. This is a stand still moment for me. I still have the woring harness and everything for the 91 I just wanted to use my 93.
