Ok I have an 87 wrangler with a 94 engine and a 2002 fuel injection system with the 2002 harness and computer. How do I put all this together and make it all work?

It's gonna be hell. You have 2 different generations of OBD between the engine and harness. The plugs won't match up to plug and play on any engine connections. YOu'd be MUCH better off to find a harness from a 95 and down car. I could help then.

not really.
He has a 94 engine but sounds like everything relevent will be 02.
Discard the 87 info, it might as well be 27 for all we care its a motor holder.

You will use everything 02 and just have to tap into lights etc. off the chassis.
if I understand you correct the only thing 94 is a long block set up. If so, it really wont be too bad.

If you were trying to use a 94 computer, it would be a different story.

affordablefuelinjection.com can build you a plug-n-play harness affordably. I used them for the 350 fuel injection swap on my 89 yj and it was fast (getting my harness) and easy.

When I did my swap I just bought a harness and comp to match the motor... by far the ezist way

Sorry I havent replied. I had to make a trip to Iowa for My cousins funeral. That was a trip I did not want to make! 18 years old.
I have all or most every thing including the catalytic converters and 02 sensors for the 2002, wiring harness and computer for the 2002 and alternator and distributor thingy, and coil packs and such. I dont have a garage or any thing to keep out of the weather.
Anyone know someone who could help do, Or do this for me, for a price of course!

Thanks for all of your replys!

I dunno if it matters or not but if you are using the stuff off of my old blown 4.0 it is a '00 and not an '02 Darrin. Good luck my friend.

I've done it. Did a 94 engine in my 80 CJ5. If you were OBD1 and would pay for the gas and board, I'd come hang out for a weekend and help you get it all going right. But the OBD2 is a HUGE pain.

might could do somthing like that!I'll have to scout out some free weekends that could coinside with yours! Thats it!! I need to have a wrench and greet at my place!!!

I can throw some grub!!! and:beer:
