Woe is me!!!!

I have no money. My wife's purse was stolen out of her mini van Sunday. Keys, DL, MED card, 2 check books, 2 CC,ect... GONE!!!
Long story short after cancelling everything, the bank tells us it may be 6 to 10 days before our account will be fixed!!
The hood rats that stole it have used credit and debit cards in excess of $4000.00, 15 gas station charges. All the gas station charges show as $1.00 purchases until they post, so we have no idea how much they will total. Plus all the checks they could have written!!!

ALL ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN LOCKED DOWN!!!

This is the most violated I have ever been. A very humbling experience to say the least!! I haven't borrowed money from my parents since I was 15.

Other than the obvious, What should I do, Fraud alerts, ECT...

Any advise would be helpful,

Make sure you get a copy of the police reports. Co-worker of mine had the same thing happen two months ago, she's still going thru the night mare of credit companies calling, bad checks, etc, etc.
 
Check your credit report frequently. They've got enough info to open new acounts in your name...

Also, not to make you more paranoid, but they have your house keys, and her license, with your address. Need I say more?

I'm really sorry to hear that this happened.. I would LOVE to catch a piece of shit like that in the act...
 
House Locks were changed on Sunday, Car locks are about 600.00, so I don't think they will be changed.
We are paroniod about them showing up at the house, Wifely unit is packing heat every where she goes!!!!
