Bono, lead singer of the rock band U2, is famous throughout
the entertainment industry for being more than just a little
self-righteous.

At a recent U2 concert in Glasgow, he asked the audience for
total quiet. Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap
his hands, once every few seconds.

Holding the audience in total silence, he said into the
mic, "Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies."

Right away, in a broad Scottish accent, roaring up from the audience:

'Well, foockin stop doin it then, ya evil bastard!'

LOL

I grinned

Im sure Bono stopped to laugh as well

Also, I try to go see alot of different band and lately they stand on stage, preach politics and trouble. I understand using their popularity to get the message out. Still alot of people go to concerts to get away from all that and just hear live music

Any body seen the south park episode with bono? It basically says no matter how much good he does for the world he still a piece of sh!t. Very funny if your in to that kind of thing.
